Awesome Monitor
This is a great monitor. I upgraded from a 3 year old 19 inch LCD HP monitor that i got when i bought my computer. I bought this one mainly for the fact it has HDMI input for my PS3 and for the Size of the screen.I was amazed at how much bigger it is compared to my old one. Excellent Monitor, Excellent Price!

I LOVE my new monitor !!
This is my fourth LCD screen (Hannspree > Viewsonic > LG > Asus) and they just keep getting better.The LG was a 22" only 10 months old but I was never entirely happy with it. Just like me.But seriously, you would be hard pushed to find a better 1080 display at this price point.The image quality is excellent when fed with HDMI (I can't comment on DVI or VGA). Viewing angles are generous, colours are solid, and the overall brightness / contrast depth and quality provide a great viewing experience. No dead pixels, no blurring or trails, no backlight bleed.Sound reproduction is clear and crisp, but obviously lacks bass due to the size of the speakers...

Probably a poor one
I have had to send back my ASUS monitor as it had quite the poorest picture quality I have ever seen. Using it with a brand new Dell PC there was colour bleeding from letters and other characters and there were areas of the screen that were almost out of focus. On top of that I found the OSD almost impossible to use and I could not find a happy medium of brightness and contrast. I'm sticking with my old HP on for a while and doing some careful research before buying a new one.

I wish I could afford 2!
This is a brilliant monitor. The definition is good and the colours are superb when displaying photographs. It also installed itself very easily. I'm using it as a primary monitor on Vista with a 22" (not ASUS but very good) monitor as the secondary, mainly for CAD. The ASUS is better, if I could have 2 of these I'd be very happy.

Good monitor, but has backlight bleed! [Updated]
I do generally like this monitor and agree with much of what other reviewers have said. However, my particular monitor has quite significant backlight bleed around the edges (it is worst at the right-hand-side of the bottom edge). This is not a problem when you are displaying something bright, but when you are displaying something darker, such as when playing the games Left 4 Dead or Killing Floor, it is quite noticeable and rather annoying. You get what you pay for
Not a patch on my 5 year old 17" NEC TFT. Despite using DVI at its native resolution of 1920x1080 there was slight haloing around characters in the corners of the screen though this wasn't particularly distracting. There was also a noticable blue colour cast which I got rid of by adjusting my graphics drivers blue brightness.What proved distracting was the backlight flicker when turned on after being powered off for a few hours. No problem on day one but on day two the flickering started...

The Walking Dead (pixel)
Lovely looking monitor, came like lightning by DHL (or UPS, can't recall) and looked splendid on my desk for three days. Then - lo and behold, one dead pixel right in the upper-middle of the screen. Sent back, immediate refund, no worries but I'm left with an almost unbearable longing for the old days of CRT and glass screens. I have a horrible feeling that the whole 'LCD/TFT/flatscreen vs CRT' business is just 'VHS vs Betamax' all over again ... <sigh>
