Surge protector
I have given this item 5 stars even though i never received it as it is not clear why it didn't turn up; it was probably royal mail. As the company refunded the money I have no complaint.

high quality product
Good quality product, but not PC or laptops - this is what is indicated on the packaging.! I give it 4 for that, as you only find out after you receive it.

The good first: it is a good quality product; very solid; thick cable; on-off switch; offers warranty for your appliances who are eventually broken by a lightning stroke or a similar event. The bad: it's a little too big (46 x 8 cm without cable); offers basic protection only, for mixers and kitchen small appliances; the protection level is not advertised on the site, but on the item's original packaging - so the fault doesn't belong to the producer or the product here. Safety
I have three like this already but they come in very handy (ie) xmas when you require spare sockets or weatherpermiting using electrics outside.

Nice and safe now

Belkin 4Way Surge Protector Extension Plug
Does the job well I guess, you never you until you have an easily identifiable issue with your power supply.Still, the fear factor of an issue that can impact your computer/hdd/data is unthinkable and if that fear can be allayed by a cheap extension well, why not get one?

Does the job...
I bought this item thinking it would protect my computer, printer and two monitors from a power surge, when it arrived I found out it was not adequate for those sort of appliances.I think I was mislead thats why its only 3 star!!

Good stuff
Its built well, for a extension cord. However dont expect really high quality here.The power light isnt too bright, so wont brighten up the whole room when watching a movie.Note though this is basic protection, and whilst it will work for your tv etc, they recommend you buy the more expensive surge protector for more expensive electrical items. However it works well so who cares.

Pretty standard four way plug.
I've used this model for a few years for general television, dvd player and games console duties and it's protected them just fine. At least, I think it's protected them. With these things it's hard to tell if they are actually doing anything! What I can tell you is that the sockets are all well moulded and plugs go in and out just fine (on some very cheap four-way sockets you practically have to crowbar off your plugs!). The lead is strong and an okay length but not good if you want to run some...
