More than happy
Just got new screens for my Mac and though I'd try out a DVI cable. Can't fault this one - the colours are vibrant and its at least a third as cheap as any other cable of this length I could find in the shops. It really does make a difference to the monitor.Just be careful you get the right one - there is a difference between DVI-I and DVI-D so check your monitor/PC instructions to be sure.

Double link is not always compatible
The review saying single link is the same as double link, is Rubbish.I have a have a double link DVI cable, and it is not compatible with my monitor, because there are extra pins on the cable for which there are no holes in the monitor's socket. It's not this cable obviously, and it may not be a problem, since I'm not intending to use it on the monitor.I know nothing about this particular single link cable, but beware that if you need single link, double link might not do.

No point in getting single-link DVI cables
There's no point in getting a single-link cable like this one, since dual-link (DVI-D to DVI-D) cables are fully compatible, and no more expensive. That way you know that you'll be able to use dual-link devices in future with the same cable.

Ignore the picture
The item description is dvi-d but the picture is of a dvi-i cable, if you order this you will recieve a dvi-d so it wont have the 4 pins around the flat earth pin as shown in the picturehowever high quality cable no compaints about performance

too cheap
Bought this cable to run an HD 22" screen, sadly it was not up to it. The screen was blury and was flickering. Just looking at the thickness of the cable once it arrived i thought there would be issues. Might be ok for smaller lower resolution monitors though. I would suggest the following:

Who'd have thought it?
I umm'd and ahh'd about whether or not buying this would make any difference to my monitor's picture, but having taken the plunge I'm so glad I did. After using the same monitor with a VGA cable for a couple of months, this cable has made a huge difference. Before, I had to correct the monitor's gamma setting practically every time I booted up; this cable has completely solved that issue. I'm also fairly sure that text appears to be sharper, contrast better, and colours richer using this cable, ...

Cheap and cheerful
Cheap and cheerful, but I bought a better cable since as this one did not work all that well. Resulted in a rather blurry image.
