Is this the right cable for you?
I can't give a true rating as I bought the wrong cable and it doesn't fit! I wanted to connect my laptop VGA output to my lcd monitor with DVI input. Sadly my monitor expects a DVI-D input, and this cable has a DVI-I plug. Apparently I need an expensive analogue to digital converter box instead. Don't make the same mistake as me...

DVI - VGA
Plugs into both the DVI connector on my graphics card and VGA on my LCD monitor connecting them successfully even though the label says "It connects in a computer's VGA port with a DVI-I monitor connector". I guess it does both - as long as you have VGA on one side and DVI-I on the other and want to connect them then this is the cable for you. Robust cable, don't expect I'll have any problems with it. Yup, its a cable. It plugs into your newish PC and your old monitor. It's 3m long. Ummmm....did I mention it was a cable?

Works well.
I use this to connect the DVI out to the VGA in on my HDTV. It does the job neatley. Feels nice and chunky too, quite like a feather doesn't!Word of advice to some: If you're using this to connect a PC to HDTV, check that your HDTV supports it's native resolution through the VGA input. Some do, some don't. :)

Good high quality product
Seeing the image shown with this product, I thought I was paying for the bog standard level of quality, which meant it was a nice surprise when along came a good, high quality cable instead. Need a vga input on your screen, but only have a dvi output on your graphics card? Look no further.

I also bought this to connect my Xbox360 to my Phillips LCD hdtv, but i needed female, not male connectors. Silly of me, postage was quick though, thanks.

VGA to DVI cable
This cable appeared fine - but unfortunately will not work for me in connecting a laptop to a video projector. It appears that the DVI-I connection in the video projector must have been damaged and so as far as I can tell it is not the fault of the cable it will not connect.

Great, but a bit bulky
Great cable, very long and durable, although the DVI-I attachment is also very bulky (it was infact too bulky for my Radeon, so heavy that the screws would not hold it in place correctly and the cable had to be wedged up against a wall to stop any blurring). However I have used it on 3 other graphics cards since and it has worked perfectly.
