Does what it says on the packet!!
 
Great little gadget, used it with a headphone adaptor on a plane so we only had to pay for 1 upgrade- watch using one screen, this & headphones with extra long cable.No alteration in sound, love the fact its quite long & flexible so quite handy to go around corners!! Would look great with white ipods- however mine's black so would have preferred it to match.

Multi-purpose device
 
I bought this originally so that two people could get audio output from a laptop to watch DVDs, which it did perfectly well. I've just discovered another use. I have a . I find that the iPod Splitter lets me use the headphone/microphone headset with my iPhone. I can listen and speak or record.The ensemble also works with when wearing hearing aids set to T-Loop.

This Headphone splitter came very quickly from the supplier which was great. I brought it for my Holiday to use on the plane and around the pool with my girl friend when i plugged in 2 devices which was my iPhone and ipod the sound was muffled in both earpieces it was a wast of money very disappointing would not recommend
