Canon prices and ink quantities
I can't quite see the point of paying Canon over inflated prices for PGI-520 & CLI-521 Ink Cartridges when I have been paying far less for Premium Compatible cartridges with twice as much ink from a company called advantage online. They work perfectly and I receive them next day. Free postage too.

Hmmm
So why did you buy this original cartridge if you then complain it is not value for money. Seems to me you are just advertising the other company. The reason I buy original canon inks is because they work better and if you use canon paper the colours appear as they are supposed to. Unlike cheaper copy inks.

Really cheap original cartridges
Purchased two cartridges over Christmas, both delivered on time and as described.Savings over high street significant, I will continue to buy all my cartridges here.

Always Original
Can't say much about the product apart from 'always buy originals'. You get what you pay for and with Canon originals the value for money is excellent. Don't be fooled by the estimated cartridge life though. If you have a 600 series Pixma like me you can easily reset the 'ink low' warning and continue printing. I regularly get 10-15% more out of the cartridge than the system suggests. Always keep a spare though for when it does finally run out. Happy printing.

Only buy Original Ink
I spoke to Canon regarding these Ink Cartridge and they were saying that use only Canon Original because they give you best end result and they Canon have spent time and money on R&D on ink for printer so they know what colour and ratio dye to get the perfect colour print and do not buy third party ink becuase they have not spent the money the R&D and the ink and colour could be weak and it may damage your printer. Good value
It's better value than buying in the shops, there was free delivery (unlike some of the others) and it came pretty promptly so I have no complaints.

Original black ink essential
I have used the cheap compatible inks, and while the other colours including the thinner black cartridge (521) produce fine print outs, I highly recommend the genuine PGI-520. This ink produces the high quality, sharp and true black needed for printing photographs and printing on non-matt media. Substitute the other colours with compatible inks, but don't scrimp on this one. The Genuine Article
Ink is ink right?Not always, I've been one to go for compatibles and refills in the past, they tend to do the job for documents, have you tried photos and I don't mean one or two either. I have done in the past and after 10-12 photos, the colour just didn't cut the mustard. I've decided to stick with official ink.I can't really go further than that to be fair as that's it really, what helps is the device, but that's a totally separate review.Thanks
