Brilliant Camera!
I bought this camera as an upgrade from the Canon 400D and boy what a difference! This camera is in my opinion the best semi professional digital SLR camera on the market! I didn't buy from Amazon (instead opting for eBay) but I thought I'd take the time to give this camera the review it needs for potential buyers!

A really Brilliant Camera
I have owned this camera (500d with 18-55mm kit lens) since Christmas 2010, and have taken just under 20,000 photos; it has been great.
It was my first DSLR and has been brilliant.
Pros: Good weight
Clear photos
Creative Auto mode (used a lot for quick snaps)
Bright Screen with a good layout
Battery Life
Lens Compatibility (EF and EF-S mount)
Cons: None
The camera body always works and I haven't had a problem with it.

Canon EOS 500D. Amazing.
I bought this product from a different company. It's secondhand. Even still it's in very good condition and I LOVE it. Very easy to use and takes great shots. I've found no problems with it yet. Amazing camera and I would defiantly recommend it to a friend.

Great Camera at a reasonable price
Ive used this camera in my studio for quite a while now and have never been disappointed. For a fairly 'budget' dslr it is just a brilliant camera. The image quality is top notch and with the right editing tools it can compete with many cameras that come in at a much higher price.
Its really easy to use and the battery life is very very long so I can have no complaints whatsoever with this unit. I won't be in any hurry to upgrade despite the lure of much mmore expensive cameras.
