Another superb Ixus
I love canon cameras, they just do the job and never seem to let you down so their latest Ixus was the obvious choice when I needed one for a Christmas present. Impressive camera from Canon
I bought this for my wife 2 months ago and am truly impressed at the photos it can take. The Auto mode is the smartest I have yet seen in a compact camera (you almost never need to manually tell it anything-including macro shot, night shot, portrait shot, moon shot at dark night, etc). The details and colors in the pictures are very impressive, too. HD video recording with stereo sound is also a big bonus. ... it seems very good. Small, very easy to slip into a pocket, quite solid feeling. The autofocus seems excellent, and on automatic it is a very intuitive point-and-shoot. The zoom-in and zoom-out button is positioned very handily next to the shutter button. Better than we hoped
I was loooking for a point and shoot that would work well under artificial light and particularly for close up shots, and my daughter needed a camera for GCSE art. great purchase
This camera was purchased specifically for my trekking holiday to Nepal and it was brilliant to nuse. Easy, light, focussing wasn't ever a problem and I have returned with great photos.

Very pleased with the camera, excellent price, prompt delivery and very easy to use. Battery power long lasting and good size screen. Downside is you have to download the instruction book - its several hundred pages and I would prefer to have one supplied. You will need a glass cleaning cloth to keep the screen smear free.
