Exactly as it says on the pack!
I'd hunted around other sites for a spare battery to carry with my Ixus 40's issued one (having recently been kicking myself for not doing this sooner in a wedding where the battery ran out half way through!).This battery is exactly as shown in the photo - the spec matchs my Ixus 40's issued battery to the tee.Other sites had them shipped from Japan or were cheap imitation batteries which couldn't guarantee compatibility with the Canon charger.Worth every penny.

No mAh specification in Amazon technical info
There is more than one version of this battery pack available - certainly 750mAh, 800mAh and 1000mAh versions are available at different prices. Since Amazon do not state the most basic and essential information about this product I suggest you shop around and make sure that you do get the best product for the price.

Spare battery
Ordered this as a spare battery for my Ixus 60 - works fine and is rechargeable using the standard charger you should get with your camera.

Canon NB-4L Battery
Have previously tried a non-Canon battery but it didn't last as long as the original that came with the camera so I've switched to a Canon battery.

Canon NB-4L Battery Pack
Bought this as a spare for my Ixus 75 camera and it is just the job as a spare. It charges up well and works fine. Always worth having a spare on hand to cover the possibility of damage or a full battery.

Exactly as you'd expect
Ordered as a spare batter for my digital ixus 50. Works just fine. Have been using it for over a year now. Seems to have decent battery life, same as the battery that came with the camera. Was tempted to buy a "generic brand" imitation, but glad I went with the real thing in the end.

Does what it should
I have tried a number of "compatible" batteries for my Canon Ixus 70, some of which claim to have a higher capacity in mAh than the Canon original. None of the compatibles holds charge for as long, nor lasts as long under usage load, as the Canon original. The Canon part costs more than the compatibles, but it works better.

Thoroughly agree with Lemonstar. It's quite apalling that Amazon don't give the tech specs for this product. If you search other sites you will see that they come with different mAh ratings, and this one is not the one with the longest battery life, so beware, you may be dissapointed!
