These speakers are amazing. That is a fact.At 700 watts you can really share your music with the rest of the street. The large downported sub literally vibrates the pipes in the floorboards below when volume and bass is on full, but even at that earthshattering volume, I have never had any distortion. worth the money !
i waited over 3 weeks for mine from amazon, and they arrived with one speaker damaged, but i've contacted creative and they are handling it.all other reviews are pretty much spot on, not a bad word to say about them so far besides the damage, but then these things happen, and i'll get a replacement soon so it's all good. S750 - Good sound but beware of poor support and unreliability
I've had these speakers for 2 years - they performed well but the amplifier developed a fault and I contacted Creative to find out how to get them repaired. They told me that they don't provide any out of warranty support and suggested I buy a replacement. Essentially this means that they consider them a 'disposable' item after the warranty period expires. These speakers are fantastic. Big in power, (700watts!!) big in size (lifting the box nearly killed my parent's back) and overally huge in volume. These speakers are true amazing. I iwsh I had bought mine of Amazon I got mine from a shoping riping me off by £50. But it was moeny well spent. The sound is so clear and the speakers look awsome, trust me if you want 7.1 speakers these are the ones for you, once you have them you want anything else! good luck shoping.

I am really very impressed with the overall quality of the speakers, there is no hissing or cracking at any time no matter how load i turn them up. The sound quality is is fantastic considering they are PC speakers, not one sound detail is left out due to the Titainium supertweeters which adds sharpness and clarity to whatever you are using them for. Poor quality
Great sound while it works, but doesn't last very long. I've had mine for 14 months, then the subwoofer (which includes the amp) blew. It now ceases to work at all. It will cost too much to send back for repair and so is a complete waste of money. It's not the first time I've read this. Avoid.

Buyer Beware
I discovered too late that this system is notorious for overheating. Mine blew up after a couple of months use. The sound quality up until that point was superb. On going to the creative labs site I find numerous reports of problems with this system. I've no idea as to the true rate of failure as it's all anecdotal evidence, but the volume of complaints and my own experience are enough to put me off ever getting another.

P>The system is fantastc and as other reviewers have said, very heavy when its delivered! After setting it all up, which isnt complicated at all (the worst part is deciding where to run the cables of which there are 3x 3m, 2x 5m and 2 which are longer and werent labelled when i got them, but i presume are 7m long), its just a matter of switching on and trying them out.
