Impressive
My Altec speakers broke (I dropped them) so I needed some new iPod speakers. I recieved these speakers for Christmas and instantly fell in love with them! The sound is great - no distortion when the volume is turned up and more importantly the bass is impressive. Fab sound!
Bought this docking system as a present for my husband,who is a bit of a hifi snob!!As the price is so reasonable,was a little concerned that sound quality would'nt beup to much....how wrong i was!He loves it,sound quality is extremely good,no distortion,even when playing metal with volume on high.Nice looking unit,especially like the insertsfor differing ipods which are made of rubber,so wont snap!A little on the large side butstill portable enough.All in all a fab...

Highly recommended
Bought this Creative iPod speaker/charger system and am very impressed at the sound quality. Can be turned up very high and still no distortion, but maximum sound is far too high for any of my needs. Will also be good with people talking at a small house party etc as quality still good and sound has good depth. It charges the iPod when run on mains power and the slim credit card type remote is very useful. I use it for music/podcasts and audible books and have just ordered another for my daughte...

Creative i500
Great sound,easy to use.Why does it not charge my 5th gen ipod ? All I get is 'not compatable for charging' EVERY time I switch the damn thing on.Very annoying.Please check compatability for charging before you buy - don't take it for granted that a year old ipod MUST be included.

I bought the playdock to play music off my creative mp3 player. Although it is make for an apple ipod My mp3 player can be connected via the jack lead included.
