Good NIC, nice driver support
If you're in the market for a network card that is pretty hassle free and just works then this NIC maybe worth a look at.It comes with the usual bells and whistles (WakeOnLan, auto sensing, et al) But the driver support is pretty decent. However if you've never installed anything hardware wise for PC before then the supplied manual on how to do it will be ghastly,Since it lacks diagrams and the like, I recommend looking at web guides on PC selfcare/upgrade before attempting it, if you'r...

Very easy to install and set up
I was impressed by the easy of install.I have used this card with Windows 98, XP and SUSE Linux 9.0. I only needed to install the drivers for Windows, which come one a CD and install with a few simple click of the 'next' button. The card itself does exactly what I wanted, which was provide ethernet connectivity for my home PC. It's what I paid for and it's what I got. It's easy, cheap and it works. Enough said.

Great nic, simple to install even for novices
This card was a breeze to install. I've had a computer for some years and happily surfed the net using my USB ADSL Modem provided by my broadband provider, not knowing until recently I didn't have an ethernet adapter. I needed one to set up a home network. Ethernet has great advantages--it doesn't use CPU cycle thus not slowing your computer, enables you to connect devices such as routers and modems directly to your computer, but most of all allows you to set up a network. The speed difference o...

Superb NIC!
I needed a new NIC after the one provided by my ISP decided to give up the ghost. So I ordered the card with Amazon on Friday and got it first thing Monday (nice one Amazon). Comes with a disk full of drivers, a very good manual and installation guide. No problems setting the card up, actually Windows XP recognised it, and has drivers for it so was up and running in no time. Simple to install, and runs like a dream. Well worth the money.

Ethernet Card
I don't think I have had so many problems with a device in my whole life. Windows XP is ment to detect the device, but it dosent. I have had no support after asking and I have been waiting since Xmas to get it working and still can't. Its useless.

Does what it says on the tin
Just a basic NIC but it does the job. Easy to set up, all you have to do is plug it into a spare PCI slot and install the driver, and I had it working within minutes of opening the box.Only annoyance is that it doesn't come with a screw to secure the card but I had spares anyway.

LAN card for Broadband connection
I was a little dubious that a product this cheap might not work properly but I need not have worried. If you're happy fitting cards into PCI slots inside your PC then this will do the job for you. It was delivered within 2 days, installed within 10 minutes and worked immediately with Windows XP detecting and installing the drivers automatically. The card is capable of handling far greater volumes at much higher speeds than our old Pentium II PC can manage, so why pay any more as this does the jo...

Great find thanks to a previous reviewer....
Well thanks indeed to 'maple tree' who wrote a review (Dec 2007) and got me thinking !!! Got out 'old faithful', my old w98se computer and installed this PCI card, Ref D Link DFE-530TX 10/100Mbps PCI Ethernet Adapter Card, and just as he/she says, it has given my old w98se machine a new lease of life. Install the driver from the supplied CD first, only THEN (after initial reboot) install the card and hey presto, my old w98 computer is now on my small home network together with my Xp computer. Am...
