I have a big house with some thick walls and wanted to extend coverage out to the pool terrace and also to the attic but you can use this in your two-up two-down. I ended up buying two of these to achieve that. I have a BT Home Hub (v3) as the main router. Setup was quick and worked first time for me. Difficult To Setup
 
I did eventually get this thing to work after about 2 hours of messing around and i setup networks for a living !. Maybe its a compatability issue with the Netgear DGN2200 router i have but the setup wizard didn't work for me at all and had to setup everything manually right down to the DNS settings.So far its been stable for 4 days and works well but unless you are very competent and familiar with networks i would avoid this device like the plague. It ran OK for 7 months and then kept losing the signal, meaning it had to have a total reset each time. This happened more and more frequently (e.g. only lasted a few hours before it failed). Its range also deteriorated. Finally I had enough and binned it. So, all in all, a waste of money.

After changing my Internet Service Provider, and using the router the sent me, I was having trouble with the wireless signal. I now use this (along with some homeplugs) so that I can get a decent signal all around my home. One of my best buys in the last 6 months.
