Easy to set up and use (and how to save ink!)

Nightmare to set up WIFI

fab 4-1 machine
After weeks of looking at a variety of 4-1 machines, decided on this one.was going to buy through amazon then saw a deal at Argos (49.99) a few £ on the price quoted on amazon also saved on postage!I am no IT person but found this machine easy to set up to my laptop using wifi. good printer. Easy to set up and this replaced an earlier epson printer. Good quality print,quick and clear. Print cartridges look small but with the print very clear the use may be less. arrived on time and very well packaged. fax unused as yet but more than happy with purchase.

rubbish printer do not buy
i bought this printer from pc world (first mistake) it was fine for 3 months not used much ink very expensivethen all of a suden for no reason it developed a scanner fault when turning on and wiped all setting on it when i tried finding the wireless net work it did find it bare in mind its right next to the router and i have 6 over wifi product that have no problemthen when i turned it off and back on again it makes a loud noise and when let u go any further and says scanner fault

I got the printer, scanner and copier side of things working both to by Desktop XP PC and my wife's Vista laptop through a BT Home Hub very quickly. My wife could not understand how she could print something without any wires! Really impressed
I was impressed with the price as this is on sale on the high street at 50% more than I paid. I already have a DX4400 which is getting a bit long in the tooth so I invested in this machine. My network is both wireless and wired and in all cases the set-up was a doddle. The print quality is great, the scanner is really fast compared with my other, and the fax works without a hitch. Great all round printer
I have had quite a few printers over the past couple of decades and most of them have let me down significantly one way or another and I ended up needing to live with their shortcomings. My previous printer was a Samsung CLX 3175 colour laser which I was really looking forward to an ink-cartridge free, high quality experience. Not compatible with IPad 2
I managed to set up my laptop to print wirelessly to this printer remarkably easily, but am surprised to find that I can't use it to print from my new IPad because the printer is not ''airpush enabled". So far I haven't been able to find a fix or workaround, so if anybody knows of one can they please let me ( and potential purchasers) know. Until then, I would advise all IPad users not to purchase this printer.
