Design flaw
I've had this watch for a while. Before buying it, beware of this design fault: the strap is integral to the watch and cannot be replaced when it breaks. So when it does break, you have to throw away the watch, or get a replacement from Garmin. The replacement is cheaper than a new watch, but very expensive when you think that all you need is a new strap. Go with this and forget about GPS watches
I normally can't be bothered with reviewing products, but this I can. I had a Garmin 305 forerunner and was always waiting for satellites and GPS to kick in, boring. With the FR60 it all just woprks much better, plus the watch is smaller and more comfortable. FOund it very easy to customise and set up. Couple of days in and loving the simplicity [Read 's Complete Review for Garmin FR60 with Heart Rate Monitor + Footpod – Black Mens (010-00743-10) at Amazon (UK)]

Not what I was expecting ...
Had the watch less than 24 hours and sent it straight back. Gutted really as I thought I had saved up for a better product - wrong!I bought the watch to replace my worn out Polar F6 which has served me well over the past 3-years. It's still goin' - but only just - hence the need to replace it. I was keen to go for one with a foot pod to measure my pace / distance, something that I had not tried before. I was also curious how the foot pods worked. I didn't want the fiddle of a GPS system [Read 's Complete Review for Garmin FR60 with Heart Rate Monitor + Footpod – Black Mens (010-00743-10) at Amazon (UK)]

I love mine
I love my FR60. Who needs GPS, that takes anything up to 5 mins to find a signal? If you don't know where you're going, a 305/405/310XT isn't going to help you. A footpod is accurate, works instantly, and having used both, I feel the weight of a footpod on my trainer far less than I felt the weight of a GPS receiver on my wrist.I used to have a 305, you see. I do miss is the Virtual Partner, where you can race against yourself from a previous workout, but this really is something I can [Read 's Complete Review for Garmin FR60 with Heart Rate Monitor + Footpod – Black Mens (010-00743-10) at Amazon (UK)]

Great training watch
I have owned this watch for about 12 months now and i love it. Its great for tracking distances, speed and Heart Rate. Its size and battery life means it can also be used a as casual wrist watch. Only thing it is missing is GPS, but if you can live without that this is definately the ideal choice.
