Garmin Nuvi Lifetime Euro updates
Excellent Product, upgrade straightforward but would have liked to have known that a 16GB SD card would be needed, as my existing 8gb card not big enough Still 5 stars though.

This gave me trouble
I bought this from Amazon because of the price. On loading, which seemed to take forever, 2hrs 45 mins to be accurate, I was disturbed to find it did not work properly, it picked up the satellite but my nearest Shell station was in France somewhere, and I just knew there was one up the road in Pennington not a mile away. Furthermore it did not recognise Ipswich as a town. Going back over my confused mind I remembered I had memory problems in that my 1410 did not have room for the complete

Garmin nuMaps Lifetime Europe Download
What is all the fuss about downloading this product.There are simple instructions on back of card ( you might need a magnifying glass to read ). If you follow these and any onscreen instuctions it is quite easy, just let the computor do its job. My download speed is approx. 4.5Mbps and it took about 3'1/2 hrs to download and put on my Sat Nav (nuvi 1390).I did not save the maps to my computor, but will do so in future this will take a bit longer. Slow but Got there in the End
Took forever to download and install but no problems apart from speed. Appears to have been successful although I haven't actually been out and about using it as yet. Wouldn't want to update the maps too often but seems great value for money. Shame I can't update additional maps I purchased on SD cards as that would be very handy.
