basic provision although I recieved a PC connex cable when I had already ordered one at the time of purchase.I used it in the USA, good but the lane info was not as good as I thought it would be.Overall a satsfied customer.

On occasions it's taken nearly 1/2 hour to locate satellite connection which is very unhelpful. It's now frozen completely and not working at all! Also have since found out that this isn't uncommon for Garmin. Now going to try a Tom Tom

Fantastic Sat Nav
Having read other reviews about how long it took to locate satellites this was a concern but when you discover that its only an issue when you travel a great distance (fly for example) then you soon adapt and simply switch it on as soon as you can and let it discover where you are. I bought this for a trip to Holland in April, and because I will be driving in New Jersey later in the year. The most useless product & disgraceful after sales service. I do NOT advise any body touching this product with a barge pole. I paid for the product on 11 June 2010 and received it in the middle of August. They said that I was entitled to one map update FREE. So I applied for it & got a bill of £80+. Garmin Nuvi 1370 Sat Nav
After having had a number of Tom Toms in the past, I bought this Garmin Nuvi 1370 Satellite Navigation with UK, European & North American Mapping to replace a broken Tom Tom. It is more than a match for the Tom Tom and slightly easier to use. The other bonus is that the maps included cover all of the UK, Europe and North America, so I will be able to use the Nuvi for most of my holiday trips.

I was apprehensive when deciding what item should replace my stolen Nuvi 690. This sat nav really is top rate. I have had other units and I was worried regarding some reviews that suggested that satellites were hard to pick up and could take time especially in other countries. This could not be further from my experience with the unit. It is easy to use and accurate to a few feet.
