Garmin Nuvi Sat Nav
Bought this for use in Europe. I downloaded the safety camera feature but as yet it has not warned of one camera. I have the proximity set but still no cameras even show up on it. I think its going back and i'll get a Tom Tom as they come with this feature installed at the factory. If i'm being thick pplease advise.

Bluetooth Problems
I bought this satnav because of its bluetooth capabilities and supposed compatablity with my iphone3G. However, the GPS shuts down whenever the two are paired together. Having contacted Garmin they confirm that the latest versions of Garmin's and Apple's software are not compatable. Nuvi shows the way to go.
Works fine, straight from the box. I found using it to be intuitive - I still haven't looked at any instructions. Hooked up to both of my mobile phones over blue tooth, no problem. On the journeys I've made so far, the instructions were clear and correct. The screen is easy to see, even without my reading glasses.

This is my first sat nav system, so I've nothing to compare it to. I did some research before purchasing and this system met my basic requirements at a price considerably less than the equivelent system from the UK brand leader. Big improvement on earlier Garmins
I got this as a birthday present for my Dad and he has been very impressed. I have an older Nuvi 250 which is good, but having used this one I can really appreciate the improvements/extra features. It has widescreen and bluetooth capability and a constant reminder of the max speed for the road you are currently on.Well worth the extra few quid - and it's got Europe maps too. I work on field and i had been given a new area to work at.
