Save your money
Had this for a few years now. Problem is that it works fine for a couple of hours and then you begin losing channels by the bucket load. Had not used for years but dug it out today following digital switchover to see if any improvement. Four hours after set up it has dropped from 74 channels to about 2. Friend has same item and same problem. Rubbish. Wish I had sent it back. Enclosed software is laughably bad.

Great piece of kit
We bought one of these for son as he was going to Uni. Talk about plug and play, it's absolutely brilliant. Worked at home before he went away, and works just as well in his house now. As others have said, needs a proper aerial, the indoor one that comes with it is no good, but if you've got an outdoor aerial you'll be delighted with this. Best bit of kit we've bought in years, would recommend it to anyone - and have been doing constantly since purchase.

Works well with Ubuntu 11.04
As the title says the USB stick works well with Ubuntu 11.04 Natty
It is literally plug and play which makes a change! As far as software goes, I installed me-tv which is found in the repositories and it works flawlessly - Picked up 56 channels, however I am using a fairly large roof aerial as the supplied one rather disappointingly didn't pick up a single channel.
It can record to the HDD with one click. The EPG works well too, have tried recording two channels at a time and this was
