HP are rubbish
After five months trying to get my HP Laptop repaired under guarantee, I have given up. They have worn me down. 70 emails and a lot of wasted time. I have bought a new Toshiba laptop even though the HP was only a few months old. Life is just too short to fight incompetence like this. I write this review as I feel it only fair that others know that HP's support is frankly a joke. I would not have even given HP one star but Amazon do not give me the option.

HP Pavilion DV5-1112
I spent a long time researching laptops to get the right one. I'm a designer and so needed something that was up to the job of running packages such as Corel Draw, Photoshop, Auto CAD etc. This machine seemed to fit the criteria. another great hp laptop
Im writing this review as no one else has yet, first off i like hp laptops ive always used them and always will, good quality, and i think value for money and probably the main one the customer service is great ( not everyone will agree ) but in my case far better than Sony and Apple. Now for the DV5-1112 its not the most portable laptop bit still manageable this is mainly down to the 15.4 display but its nice and bright and ive used it in most conditions and the glare isn't to bad, ...
