KINGSTON MEDIA CARD READER REVIEW
Bought this item to replace my old Sandisk reader which couldn't read SDHC cards. Main purpose for it is to download pictures to an SDHC card for use in a digital photoframe & it worked perfectly. Product also reads Sony memory duo sticks for my digital camera & micro SD cards for my Samsung mobile without adaptors so pleased with this as well.It is well manufactured & easy to install & use on my XP SP3 pc - just plug in & the pc tells you it has located & installed new hardware then off y...

A very handy gadget
. I purchased this item after looking at various others and reading their reviews, and am delighted with it. It is very quick to transfer the photos and saves on battery life if transferring direct from camera with USB cable. I can certainly recommend this product.

great card reader i have used in a long time
the card reader was very easy to set up just plug in and go!!!nothing else is needed. It appears on your computer as five drives, and as soon as you place your card into the device it loads just like a usb flash drive and your asked how you would like to open the card. very simple to use.the fact that the reader slides within its own casing is very handy if you have to place one or more large cards into the machine at the same time. a slight draw back is the short usb connector with the dev...

Great Value Card Reader
To date, I've used this card reader to read both CF cards and microSD cards and the transfer speed is impressive: transferring a mixture of JPEG and RAW images from a 4GB (133x) CF card took less than four minutes, which is about 18MB/sec.The device appears on your PC as five removable drives, one for each of the card slots, and it was quick to recognize and load the cards that I tested. The only slight weakness is that the built in USB connector is on a very short lead, which may not...

Solid and fast
I just received the reader and it is exactly what I was looking for. It is not the smallest reader out there, but I like that it slides in its case to protect the card slots a little. The main reason for purchasing this one was that it had the USB dongle built into the reader and so I didn't have to worry about carrying and losing a separate USB cable. The built-in dongle is quite short but perfect for connecting to my laptop to transfer pictures over from the camera quickly. If you need a longe...

very handy lttle reader
Got the Kingston to replace a dodgy Sandisc card reader[ which also cost a lot more], this little beauty wins hands down, it transfers fast, can read all the main cards and at a very good price. but the other thing I like is the way the usb cable fits into the body by pressing the button on its case. This keeps it neat when traveling and helps keep the usb clean. Great product, highly recommended.

Kingston Media Non Reader
The reader worked well when I first bought it but it gradually kept loosing it's signal to my PC and this morning eventually died on me.I wouldn't recommend it.

Media reader
Product does all it promised. Only one fault - small strip of plastic cover between microSD slot and MMCmicro slot snapped on first use as microSD card stuck in reader. Fortunately, as reader is 19 in 1 and we have a micro/miniSD adapter all is well.

Kingston Media Reader - Awesome
This item is perfect. It's quick, very easy to install, plug her in and wallop, it works. Very good long guides, especially for the compact flash card. Very good value for money.
