Perfect for Apple MacBook
Took a flyer and bought 2 of these for my Apple MacBook laptop (Intel) simple install, no config to do, works like a dream. Highly recommended at this price (compared to Apple's own!)

Excellent. Dell 530 runs faster and smoother.
I've given this five stars because it works in my Dell 530 with no problems and the result is favourable. Please read on for more info on how it has affected my PC's performance.I specified my Dell 530 with 2x512MB RAM, with the intention of filling the remaining 2 slots later on. Kingston has been a tip-top brand in my experience. I have used their SD cards, USB flash drives and SODIMM laptop memory and all have performed perfectly. I bought two of these 1GB DIMMs, so as to achieve ...

Great speed boost!
This review is from: Kingston Technology 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM (Electronics) I just upgraded from the standard 512MB in my MacBook, to 2GB of this RAM. Fantastic improvement in speed, for a very small price! Highly recommended!

Very good item
At first I didn't receive the item. So amazon sent me another one.I install it in my less than a year old table PC and it just flew. My 'new' table PC was playing up. I bought it in December 2007 with 160GB HD, 512MB RAM, Vista, etc. It is an ACER Aspire T180-R97z (I don't recommend it). The PC started to slow down almost immediately.I contacted the company and they said I would need to upgrade the memory to minimum 2GB RAM. I did so and my PC is now wonderfully fast and reliable. I rec...

Good memory. Does what it said on the tin.
Had bought "Easyram" equivalents recently. They performed badly (stability wise) and went back. Bought these and not had a problem since.Basically have bought (2*1GB of these Kingston modules) to help extend the life of an old WinXP machine that had made do for years with 2*512meg 533Mhz memory.Good memory, good stuff, good value.

didn't work for me
unfortunately, made my vostro 200 (already fitted with 2GB) unstable so had to return it. pity as, when it worked, made the whole system faster. (and apparently tested compatible with the foxconn mobo.)not sure whether to try kingston again, or a different manufacturer.

slow RAM
When I ordered this RAM it was called " Kingston Technology 1GB 667MHz DDR2" RAM. I literally ordered the RAM with the same spec (i.e Mhz and DDR) as the RAM already in my PC.The RAM in my PC is over two years old now, but is of a far better quality. The inclusion of this new RAM has actually decreased the performance of my PC, amazingly, because its quite laggy when running at 667MHz.For example, my Vista subscore for RAM went from 5.2 to 4.7 - lower being worse. I normally dont ...
