Yet another heap of junk from Linksys
I now have a collection of 2 lynksys routers, I linksys access point and 1 linksys gigabit switch - none of which work. I can not recommend linksys products to anyone.

little gem
purchased this unit second hand from amazon and it solved all my problems instantly...i run two pc`s from it and a wdtv live media player,my ps3,and a laptop (all from comtrend adapters)...it is flawless with a range of online security options etc to configure; it was origionally supplied with no set up disc or instructions but i went str8 to their website and sorted it all from there....it was up and running for me within half an hour and seemed to all but configure itself....all other devices

Linksys - Could be the answer!
Routers all look pretty much the same; a box, some lights, and a bunch of sockets at the back. They all do the same job. Sadly they are not all born equal. I was having some mysterious problems with the behaviour of my network, which, in the end, I figured just had to be the router. All appeared normal, cables eliminated, firmware up to date, but still problems. So, after a lot of research, decided to change it and picked the Linksys BEFSR41 - and bingo, works like a dream - like a router should

I timed myself to set this up,i just replaced my old router with the linksys 35 seconds,job done.

Excellent
Excellent Value & Quality, My first Router (changed ISP) and was not disappointed. It plugs & plays straight out of the box with no fuss or mess - just a couple of cables to connect. My PC and XBOX 360 were both online within 10 mins.Even when i did have a slight problem (my own fault for not looking at what i had already connected!) I used the Free 24/7 Helpline and was dealt with by friendly, knowledgable staff & was back rolling in no time.[ Have the 4.2 version 12/2008
