Good - once you have got it working
I bought this as a replacement for a 3Com box that had died after several years service. The 3Com box was a doddle to set up (plug everything in, power up and point my browser at the router's IP address) whereas this one was far from a doddle.It comes with an installation CD and there are several notes saying to run the CD first which I foolishly did. Good product - once it's working
The WAG has performed tirelessly once it was set up with my pc properly (running Windows 2000). It seemed to install fine initially, but I subsequently found that connections and downloads from certain sites just could not be made (eg McAfee, Windows Update). Simple and reliable route to Wireless ADSL
I purchased one of these from Amazon to replace the free wired Ethernet/USB based router that was supplied with my Mother's BT Broadband service back in the UK. great product and great value
Just bought this a few days ago for £35 - it was considerably cheaper than any other similar item, and really is fantastic.Worked perfectly on wireless with my MacBook, and was literally set up and running in less than 5 minutes. Disappointed with this product. Would not set up wirelessly, so had to use the network connection to set it up. Then though it appeared to be working it was not working with all sites. Though Linksys support was very easy to contact and seemed very helpful the solutions suggested did not resolve the problem and so it was returned faulty. Avoid at all costs
This product is a nightmare, about once a month it loses its configuration and the whole of the wireless network goes down, the only solution is to reboot and reprogram it then go around all the wireless clients and reinstall each wireless point on the network, usually this has to be done 3 or 4 times before the darn thing starts working a nightmare unless you enjoy endlessly reinstalling drivers.

I ordered this modem on Thursday, received on Saturday. Excellent delivery service.As for the modem, i previously had a Belkin FD-something-or-other, which kept on cutting out every 5 minutes due to old firmware which i could not upgrade, and the reset button being broken, i decided to opt for this linksys.
