Great if you're a boffin !
If you don't use it with a Linksys router you are wasting your time,I read the other reviews by people using BT Home Hubs and thought I'd give it a go. I spent 2 hours on the phone to the Linksys USA helpline (freephone thankfully, BT COULD LEARN FROM THIS) eventually they decided to give up after changing almost every setting in my computer and the range expander and it still wouldn't work !AVOID !!!!!

Good range extension, impossible setup
The range extension from this device when connected to a netgear wireless router was excellent, 20 metres and into a concrete basement with good performance. It works perfectly well if you have no security set-up, which is fine if you want the whole world sharing your broadband connection and squirrelling into your hard drives. When using WEP or WPA security on the main hub however, it became impossible to configure, either with Mac or PC. It is not supplied with Mac compatible installation

Absolute rubbish
This was absolutely impossible to set up and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I followed the instructions in the box and I followed the instructions I found on the internet but, either way, it was not to be. I sent it back in the end and would advise others to think twice before buying this!

absolute rubish !
please do yourself a favor , DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT , it will not work properly even after being on the phone for 5 hours to linksys customer support , they themselves did not know how to get it to work ! we are now stuck with this and it does not work , complete waste of money !!!

Linksys Wireless Range Expander
We used this range expander for a while to boost signal over to the far side of the house and we were very pleased with the improvement in signal, even finding that we could now connect in the far corners of the house where there was previously no signal. The device itself is fairly small and nicely designed. In our case it was repeating the signal from a Netgear router. I had no problems during the set-up, in fact I found it to be rather quick and easy, the instructions clear. I went through
