didn't work with option card either
Looking on the back of my card it's says "Option" on the back. This card was very popular a a year or two ago. Unfortunately the linksys router does not work with that card either and when I called tech support they said it only works with three brands and customers should call Vodaphone and get them to ship a compatible card. On doing that, Vodaphone said they could sell me one for ?250. Rubbish product I would say and ugly as sin. What a pain now I have to return it.

Broadband anywhere
I got one of these 3G mobile routers a few months ago. Well what can I say, it has been nothing but superb. I can power it up in hotel rooms, friends houses, and companies I visit, to get broadband access without the hassle of asking to plug into other peoples networks, and the hell of getting things configured. I too have a Huawei card from Vodafone, but I downloaded the update from Linksys, and it works just fine. Of course, since it's a router with built in wifi, I can share the broadband

Linksys wireless G router
May be a bit old fashioned now but works perfectly with my Vodafone Mobile Connect data card to connect, wired or wireless, to our 3 computers. Very easy to set up the network.

Bit of a sharp card
Works with the current Vodafone ExpressCard Huawei E870, with the adaptor supplied with the card. I set up the router first, got the wifi working, then plugged in the card. Up came Vodafone's 3g+ service; total config time was about 15 minutes. There's a button on the front to turn the 3G service on and off if you're worried about going over the current Vodafone 3 gig limit. Having the card in the router makes for a stable signal too - no nore dropouts or crashes of the Vodafone mobile

Be careful - you may achieve no more than a wasted day
This might well be an excellent piece of hardware, I wouldn't know. I mean to say, I ordered, paid for, and received one; as one would expect with Amazon, my order arrived swiftly.
