Great Speaker for iPod

Not much to add to Mr T's review, except that the sound from this unit is definitely room filling (if needed), without running the risk of harmonic distortion. It delivers very pleasing bass and high note audio reproduction for music and films. Heavy but mobile quality
Having got the IPod 32G touch to download all my CD's, one of the reqiurements from my wife was that we needed to be able to take the music with us. This was the answer. You can get smaller and lighter models, but for quality of both manufacture and output, this is at the very top. Auto-shutdown annoying
This would be great if it didn't automatically turn itself off after half an hour of not playing anything. I wanted to use it as an alarm/clock radio, but this "function" renders it useless for the purpose. Great sound, badly thought out connector.
Sound is great for the price and size; just don't expect a mobile disco. Two main gripes:(i) uses its own very bespoke dock adapter system, not the commonly used interchangeable universal dock adapters that fit so many other products. It only comes with 3 and 4G ipod adapters so you can't use older ipods. (ii) more annoying - once the dock adapter is fitted, you can't replace the traveling cover without removing the dock adapter again. Most annoying to have to dismantle the device...

Worth while the money
i've searhed for a portable Iphone dock speaker for quite a while, and I think I found the best option allround. If you ask me if it has the best sound, the answer is NO, and probably its not the most expensive looking either, but what you have to ask yourself, is if you want a very nice and expensive docker to take it camping or on Holiday,...probably not.This dock costs arround £60, and for that you get very good mid range sound and bass, with a decent build quality, even the turn landscape...

Tried several but couldn't find better at the price
I love this dock. For the money I think it's really hard to beat - the sound quality is great, the ability to view in both portait and landscape is really useful for watching movies and tv etc and it's portable enough to take away with you. It's also one of the very few docks in the price bracket that "works with iPhone" - something that I didn't fully appreciate until I'd tried a couple of others that were "compatible with, both not works with iPhone". Just what I was looking for
I'd been looking for something to watch my iphone videos on without having to hold it. This does it very well. Two small gripes: 1. Remote doesn't seem to work for every function. 2. If you listen to audiobooks in bed the volume control only seems to manage a bit too loud or a bit too quiet, which can be quite annoying. Generally great though.

I already have this Dock and the sound is absolutely amazing. I would strongly recommend this as a Xmas gift. I bought this for my daughter's Xmas and know that it will be very much appreciated and frequently used by her.

I've been researching ipod docks for a while. I wanted something portable, with good sound and without spending loads.
