Bad product - Might be faulty? - Win 7
The microphone is pretty incapable of picking up my voice even when my mouth is almost touching it. I feel this must be a faulty product, as most of these reviews have not mentioned such a problem. However, I am using Windows 7, which some others have found to be incompatible with this microphone.
Looks wise, it is fairly nice, though the mute button is rather obtrusive. The cable length is also about a meter, which would be good enough for me, if it worked.

Loud? Hmmm. Clear? Definitely.
FOR: Well designed mike stand. Clear with very little background noise. Money well spent.
AGAINST: Not loud enough. Logitech should really provide a driver with a volume adjuster built into it.
I needed a microphone so that I could create screencast user guides for my customers. I looked at various usb microphones across the range of price points. Based on the feedback on this one it seemed about right for me.

Worst mic ever of all time.
A bold claim you might say well it most certainly is not this microphone is so bad that it not only crashes the VOIP client I use but it actually keep making it so every time I log in a load of other people get kicked off the server as well. Not only that but it is so quiet as to make it impossible to hear me.

Great Value for Money
I wanted a desktop microphone I could use with voice recognition software 'Dragon naturally speaking' .It arrived like nearly all things ordered on Amazon in double quick time (next day.I opted for this one as the reviews read well and the price seemed excellent. It has done the job really well. I occasionally wonder if 'Dragon' would detect my speech a little better if I had forked out for a more expensive microphone or perhaps a head set but most probably it is my mispronunciation that causes
