Could have been great, but............
......for its one fatal flaw, which you've probably read about elsewhere here: its battery-saving automatic switch-off mechanism is 'set' wrongly, which means it cannot 'hear' very quiet music. This means if you're listening to the quiet moments in classical music in particular, it will switch off. Nothing you can do will change that, even with your iPod/iPhone volume turned up to max (as Logitech's Helpline tell you to do). So annoying as it's otherwise a terrific piece of kit.

Keeps switching off.
This speaker keeps switching itself off, especially when playing classical music, even when playing on full volume. The remote no longer works, despite being used less than 6 times.
I think it's time that Logitech resolved these problems. I will not be buying any more Logitech products.

lacks sound quality, but that is acceptable for a portable device
I have used these portable speakers for a month now. First of all, I use it with iPod Touch 4th Generation (Launched Sept 2010, the one with retina display) and iPhone 2G (the very first iPhone). It works without problems with bouth of them.
Pros:
*The battery life is great. I can't say how long it holds because I simple never run out of battery when I take it off the wire.
*Its small, easy to take with you and comes in a nice bag.
*I never had the problem that others had with it

Brilliant little docking station
Ive had one of these docking stations now for around 2 years and it is still going strong and is a brilliant little station.
I originally bought it because a friend had one and i was so impressed with the quality of both the product its self and its clarity in the speakers. It has a excellent battery life even now and i use it frequently. Its a nice slim design with fold out legs to keep it upright and stable, the controls are very simple to use and right on the top making them very easy
