Brilliant - once you get it working
I had terrible trouble getting this modem router to work but it's great now I have.I couldn't even get into the control panel using the standard 192.168.0.1 address (which isn't even an internet address, it should connect you directly to the modem router & it's control panel).None of the links in the pdf manual would connect (nor did any of the addresses given to me by the help desk).I spent ages talking to the Netgear helpdesk (who, no offense to anyone intended, seemed to be rea...

Have a older Netgear DG834G v4 that works brilliantly. Decided to upgrade to the DGN 2000 to take advantage of the increased throughput and range of the N spec. Unreliable and disappointing
I had high hopes for this product after reading all the good reviews it has received. However the reality is that my first DGN2000 simply would not communicate at all, which was obviously faulty and so had to return it. The 2nd one connected fine and but wasn't overly easy to set-up with all the correct security settings. A reliable Wireless-N ADSL router
I was looking for a Wireless-N enabled ADSL router, and after having this Netgear model for a couple of weeks I can say it ticks the right boxes. I previously had a Belkin N1 wireless router, which I found very unsatisfactory, due to reliability issues and not be able to disable or alter Network Address Translation (NAT) settings. Excellent for gaming
This modem is perfect compared to my old one.For example i could only host 10 players on the ps3 now i an host 14 (max)But i am using it wired as on wireless its unreliable on any modem for gaming but the laptop is great for internet surfing.Highly recommended

Excellent range!
Got this recently to go with a Netgear WN311T PCI wireless adapter for my desktop. Although this modem router is a couple of rooms away from where my PC is set up, the signal strength is at maximum and the throughput is blazing at 270Mbps! My wife's notebook also gets a good to excellent signal wherever she is in the house. Netgear DGN2000 Wireless-N Router is a great upgrade from the old G series Netgear I used to have. I have other Netgear products which is why I went for this one.everything is easily configurable. Apart from one thing:Like other routers all config is done via a web browser talking to the router.
