DONT BUY THIS!
I had this for about 6 months and it probly hung at least once a month and i had to reformat and add all my music again. Now after 6 months it doesnt work at all, I get the "connect player to pc" error but neither windows or philips device manager will recognize it now. I tried everything i can think of and called philips 2 times but they are no help at all. Poor customer service. Also no point in even tryin to view pics on here as you can hardly see them. Says it holds up to 3000 songs but have

So dissapointingly unreliable
I bought this as a replacement for a flash-drive style mp3 player as i had too much music for it. At first things were going fine - except for the fact that the pictures would not load onto the device. This immediately rendered the choice of mp3 player useless as i could have bought one without picture capability for less.Nevertheless I pushed on and transfered my meagre collection of 200 or so songs onto it. Not the best out there
I bought this mp3 player after quite a bit of resarch. I didn't want an ipod and yet I wanted a played which fitted all my requirments. This mp3 player is sleek and sexy and has easy control but there are a few bad points:I can't get pictures on my playeralbum art doesn't show upthe headphones supplied don't fit in my ears properlythe player can freezecan be quite slow, especially the touch controlgood points are:easy to usefast at uploading music DO MANUAL NOT

Brilliant little player!!!!
This really is a brilliant player. Yes the interface and the layout and style is not as good as Apples' Ipods but is not far off. First of all the voice recorder is absolutely brilliant. You can record sounds with pin-sharp clarity. I even recorded a track off my Hi-Fi and used the recorded sound as a means to listen to the track and it was almost as good as mp3 quality-something that cannot be done with an Ipod. Highly Durable
I have to say that this is one tougth bit of kit! I've worn mine on a motorbike, in all weathers, for the past 2 years without fauilt. I've even recently stuck it in the washin machine by accident - and she still plays!!!! (Although the battery is not what it used to be)My only criticism is that there aren't enough random/shuffle patterns.Highly recommended!
