best player i ever had
a 4.5 stars player.5 stars for the look and the easy to use and 4.5 for the soft as 1 maybe twice a month it would freeze.But no problem: press the reset button and all is fine.as i said it happens very rare and i use it A LOT.Im sorry actually "used it a lot" since i lost it on my last drinking session.great product for those money: too bad i coudnt get another one :(

Overall, it's not that bad.
I have had a GoGear Spark for over 18 months now, and I have to say that it is one of the better mp3 players I have owned. The 2GB memory it comes with was just right for me, the seperate folders for audio books and music files is a good idea, the "Full Sound" feature it has is good and you can personalise it with your own pictures.However, there are a few bad points:If your audio book files are in mp3 format, they will be played with the music files, and finding an .mp3 to .aa converter

Cool
This is a nice little gadget that is very small and handy to fit into those small pockets.However it does take a few minutes to load up due to all the songs, but you easily adjust to that. I have had to buy 2 pairs of headphones for this due to the wires becoming damaged due to being in my packet so I found a small case to store it in and now seems to be fine.It is easy to use and files are transferred quickly.Im not sure if it is worth £50+ though.

Philips GoGear Spark 2GB MP3 Player
I chose this MP3 player because it was recommended as a good player at a very reasonable price, which it is. The quality of sound is very good and I found it easy to use. What is disappointing is the very poor quality of the voice recording. I bought it specifically to be able to record live music (I belong to a choir and this facility is invaluable for helping me learn material) but the GoGear Spark distorts badly, as it seems to have no ability to adjust for differing sound levels.

Good product
Like it. The sound is very good to me and the battery is good. Although the lcd is not perfect it is still a nice choice.
