Very good deal
Philips DC199b/05 docking system is great. It compares a lot of different functions. You can play your music with different ways. Straight through your ipod, a usb memory stick, from your pc/laptop and it also supports radio. Nice design and really good speakers. The DBB function makes bass much more stronger. There are no any setting for adjusting sound, equalizer etc. Volume is really good. It fits for home, the office, student room. It also has the alarm function where you can set the alarm

Great little system, but..........
can only play 1 album at a time. Jumping from 1 album to another can't be done using the ipod, only usb. Having said that it really is a good quality sound. Unlike previous reviewers I've found the sound quality to be extremely good for such a small unit. Unfortunately the FM antenna doesn't fit the connection, but don't bother contacting Philips - they can't be bothered even finding out the facts. They tell me that there is no seperate antenna!!!! philips....
it is a very decent piece of equipment with good audio output. the aux port is in front so may make connections look awkward and untidy. it doesnt support new ipods but the sound output is of exceptional quality for an equipment of its size.

Stylish, good sound, dock doesn't work for iPhone 3G
Like the title says I found this item very stylish and the sound is good for a small unit with good base too. However despite doing lots of research on the unit I managed to overlook this fact that it will not play properly or charge a iPhone 3G/S through it's dock. It will play through the aux port but i'm left a little frustrated with the unit and myself for a major purpose of it was to charge and play my iPhone through the dock. The radio is good though and there is a clock plus alarm

Pound For Pound.. One Of The Best
Decided to invest in this a few days ago and for the money you pay it's absolutely fantastic. Real deep, bassy, clear sound. The radio is decent enough. Looks stylish and the display is uber-funky. Best sticking your iPod on shuffle though for reasons stated on another reviewEven though it says on another review that the FM antenna doesn't fit, that's absolute rubbish. It looks like it won't fit because the connector is a bit different but it does definitely fit and it works
