I bought these for my daughter a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that we're really pleased with them. The sound quality is excellent and she found the correct adaptor for her 2nd Gen iPod Nano very easily. Even better than expected!
I bought this item yesterday, relying on the brand name more than anything else.Well, I am very pleasantly surprised:-It was dead easy to set up.- The sound quality is excellent, even at high volume.- The bass thingie does work! (despite the fact that Philips have given it a silly name..woox?)- It fits my Ipod Nano 4th generation (it isnt mentioned on the box, but it does fit).- It looks good.- The remote control feels like quality (as opposed to feeling plasticky)....

I got this yesterday and I have to say, I'm quite impressed with it. The alarm is horrific!
This is a good looking item. The sound is excellent. Buy it if you don't mind being woken up by having a heart attack! It's so loud it could burst eardrums and not good to wake up to. I tried putting the volume low while and before setting the alarm but it makes no difference. Awful!

Many fine features but some significant shortcomings. On the positive side, smart modern appearance, excellent sound quality. Most significant shortcomings relate to the remote control, in particular the lack of true i-Pod functionality (made even more irritating by being made to look like it does!). Bought this for my mum for Xmas as she has a Philips gogear mp3 player and this one described itself, suprise suprise, as being comptable with them and an added bonus it would also charge it. We have bought 2 of these docking stations and have been very pleased with both of them and use them all the time. Would definitely recomend them. The output is very good, good quality sound and a very good bass response. One thing to note is that you need to have the unit on a firm surface otherwise the vibration of the great bass output can cause the ipod to trip.We also liked the idea that you can adjust the volume from either your ipod or the docking station itself which a lot of more expens...
