Fantastic little toy
I have purchased this item to replace our old Philips Entertainment system. Was not quite sure what to expect as per low price but was very pleasantly surprised. Half of the size of our old Philips and better sound. The only con on this system is that clock on the main display disapear after about 15 minutes so you cant see the time in the middle of the night if you would have this in your bedroom. Otherwise very simple to use and good quality for very little money.

An amazing item at a knockdown price
Having recently joined the IPod brigade with my 32Gb Touch I decided that it was fianlly time to retire the old CD changer stereo and go for something that would work with the IPod. The description was a bit vague as to whether it would work with my version of the IPod or not (as far as I know I've got a 3rd Gen) but it my luck was in and it all seems to work fine. Nice and compact with a good quality sound that embarrases the old stereo.A lot of hi-fi for not a lot of money.

not all thats promised
I brought this after reading lots of positive things about this model and sadly i have been left very dissapointed. The sound output is too quiet which is a shame as other wise it is a good piece of kit. Would be ok in a small kitchen or bedroom but not anything else. Was simple to set up and use though. For similar money you can buy somthing with a bit more umph. I personally woould not recomend.

Why doesn't Amazon give moe detail about the units, like watts per channel, dab tuner, inputs, outputs.

Good quality at a good price
I bought this for my son for Christmas and was very pleased at the quality for the very affordable price. My son is pleased with its performance and sound.

really well priced, great buy, but we're having trouble gettin signal with the aerial, a plug in aerial would be better!!

Money well spent!
A great stereo. Cheap, easy to use and has everything you need for a family entertainment system. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good value, good sound
Bought this for my daughter. It is compact, not too plasticky, Ipod dock which also charges Ipod, good sound not tinny and well priced by comparison with other systems we looked at.

Phillips Micro system
Having looked at other similar products to the Phillips system I now know I made the right choice, the system is fantastic for whatever function you select, I have no hesitation in reccomending the Phillips DC146/05

smart item!
Looks tidy and sleek great sound, plenty enough for my daughters bedroom. Bought for I pod dock and radio alarm. Does the job nicely only one disappointment and that's no snooze on alarm clock, but there is a sleep button so you can listen to and drift off to sleep.Well recommended.
