Beter than an Ipod
this PhilipsSA3124/02 mp4 player is fab!! i love it! had it for about a month now and its awesome! i have an ipod nano aswell but trust me this PhilipsSA3124/02 is way better! because you can use windows media player with it and its alot better for the money. awesome. if you want a good mp4 player then get this trust me.

Poor Mans iPod
I call mine a poor mans iPod, but that doesn't mean it lacks in quality at all.For ?50 it is an amazing little gadget. It is basically an iPod duplicate, just with a different interface. Excellent Value
I've had my Philips SA3124/02 MP3 player now for about 2 months and it's superb. It's very easy to use, with the menu system being one of the best I've seen. You can randomize your playlist or play tracks in order.The graphic equalizer lets you chose from a number of settings. Transferring music is simple and can be done using Windows Media Player or you can just drag and drop the music files. It has a 2GB memory which is good for about 500 tracks.

for the price - great
I am very pleased with the Philips player - the sound it great - although I did decide to invest in Bose headphones in the end which naturally make the world of difference, but better to do that than spend a fortune on a player that you may be disappointed in, the headphones make it. the radio sounds brilliant - although the reception will vary as you move around which is only to be expected.Wish I could work out how to delete the songs I am fed up with though - I shall persevere - there m...

Worth it, but...
On the whole I'm on the side of the positive reviews. The sound is good through the supplied headphones, and I had little trouble setting it up and using it for the basic functions. Mine, too, however, is very difficult to switch off, and I must say I prefer loading from the i-tunes store than messing about with transferring music files to the Windows media player and then to the Philips audio player (downloaded from the supplied set-up CD). Excellent, my best MP3 player yet
Mine arrived yesterday, from Cheapest Electrical (currently first seller under Used and New). It worked as soon as I plugged it into my computer, it connects as a Mass Storage Device (basically like a flash drive) so it works without drivers on Windows, Mac OS and Linux (I tried it on all three). An old wrinkly's view
Bought mine in Spain 2 days ago.Followed the booklet instructions and got it going.The on-CD users manual was better for details.Sucessfully downloaded BBC podcasts(dial-up connection!)loaded playlists-deleted and added a photo.All as claimed-except as mentioned by others switching OFF is 'difficult'.Wish I had bought a bigger one!

Great Product
This is a quality mP3 player which has excellent sound quality and is very easy to use. The memory's a decent size and it's very neat and compact. A few people have said the headphones supplied aren't that good but I've had no problems with them whatsoever. Great value for money!!

computer will not recognise it
This was a present for my wife and I have just spent 6 hours trying to get it installed on a HP, Sony and then an IBM thinkpad. The set up is rubbish and none of the computers will recognise the device. I have carried out every action suggested on their web site, all to no avail. I wish I had never seen the damn thing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
