Samsung... on song!
I am a Canon digital SLR owner and I wanted a camera that I could use for days/nights out with my friends when composition and facilities of an SLR such bokeh (out of focus areas) are not necessary. quality camera
I can wholeheartedly recommend this camera to everyone. Very easy to use with useful automatic settings that can easily be operated manually for all kind of cool shutter effects. My only criticism would be in video recording mode, the sound cuts out when zooming. This is easily avoided by not zooming....! Look, just buy it

Very impressive
I bought this camera expecting a good camera, but what i got is a GREAT camera. The only little problem is night pics with a lot of light. the camera seems not to like that and the result is not really impressive. But despite that it's perfect! Is small, light and trendy. I do recommend for non-professional photographers :)

Didn't quite make the grade.
My first impression when opening the box was WOW! I then took a picture and was amazed at the quality of the screen. Glad in my change of heart
I had initially had my eye on another Nikon once my good old little E775 gave up (I didn't really want to deviate from Nikon if truth be known), but after seeing this camera in a local store my head was turned. For five years I've had a 4 million pixel Fuji Finepix 4900Z with 6x optical zoom that took excellent pictures. However, I now have more need of a compact camera (The Fuji was bulky) that could be taken just about anywhere. Great Buy
I bought this camera mainly for its design, not only does it look very sleek the actualy quality is great as well, must say the moment you turn the flash off in low light the pictures dont come out as well as id hoped, but leaving the flash on is no bother, overall a great buy, and for the price 5 star.Jack

This really is the very best !!
I have recently purchased this fabulous camera and after looking at over 50 cameras I can honestly say that this is the best in terms of looks and performance. Don't bother looking at any other camera in this price range as you will not find anything better.

great little camera but....
when i got this i was well impressed with the camera, took good pictures and everything, but i had to replace it twice cause i took the camera out with me like i had with many other cameras that ive owned and this one the shutter broke twice, it just wouldnt close the shutter so the camera never really turned off, n then wouldnt take another picture, so if u do get this camera buy a case and use it with care, not a camera to take out on nightsout, but as a camera at this price its great

After reading all the reviews I was confident the camera was fantastic, after all it is made by Samsung. How disappointed was I?! The features are awful to say the least. Shoot modes make no sense i.e. the general auto setting that on almost every camera simply allows you to point and shoot took photos as if they were negatives. I had to select beach/sea mode to take a normal picture.The anti shake function is pathetic (of the 10 or so shoot functions it actually doesn't ...
