Excellent little camera
Bought this as a present for my daughter's 11th birthday and geve it to her just before the party so she could take pictures of the event. She didn't even need to open the manual, as all the menu's are pretty intuitive and technology doesn't seem to phase kids these day! By the end of the party she'd worked out how play back the pictures as a slide show with party music! Picture quality looks excellent, and the 2 meg Scandisk chip I bought with it means she won't be bothering me very often to...

Compact!
Wanted a compact Camera and I got one! Its a really good size, looks stylie, fits in the pocket easy and its nice and light, controls take a while to get used to and it does'nt come with a case, so you will have to buy one separately, but apart from that cant fault it!

in hong kong, one of the coolest places in the world...my camera broke after 2days....
i looked around for a good all round camera with ok reviews and a good price, this seemed to be the best available. to start i felt a bit let down with the quality of the images even in different modes it still seemed a bit void of vibrant colour, and a bit life less, the flash all most seemed pointless! the self portrait mode is a good idea but doesn't all ways work that well. video recording seemed ok (got to use it once before it died) but wasn't much better then a really good phone camera in...

I will never use this company to order again! I had to do all the chasing only to find BOTH cameras ordered had been damaged en route and they had no stock left! Very quick to take the money out of my account only put the money back once I had made contact after 3 weeks!! Not uncommon according to their website! Two VERY unhappy children!

Samsung ES55
I like Samsung camera's in general and looked for a Samsung model.It's a great tidy little camera to carry around. The quality of the photo's is good.It's easy to use but there is one thing that I don't like.... the red eye option is a correction option on the camera as opposed to an automatic function. It does work but I prefer the model that automatically corrects the red eye before displaying the photo. Still for the price it's a great camera.

Just what I needed
Fantastic!! A compact little camera that was just what I needed for a last minute holiday. I ordered this and booked my holiday - with only a week to spare before flying off, it arrived in time. It's very easy to use and brilliant because of the lithium battery, so easy chargeable. Still learning about the features but the photos I took are really sharp & clear.

Sorry that there was not a good set of instructions with the camera had to go on line to get the full details. Otherwise this was a good camera easy to use and all the functions needed for taking good photos
