I got the 'Click of Death' within a few days

Put 50% of my data on, noticed it made the odd click or two thought nothing unusual 3-4 days later plugged into ps3 clicked like mad and .avi file froze now the transfer rate was like 5mb a sec and constantly clicking, looking it up on google (seagate click of death) thought not aving any of this rubbish returned to amazon straight away....

I've been a fan of Seagate for years - until now. Quite simply, I bought two of these drives for the daily backups of a SBS 2008 server. I've had these drives for a few weeks. A few days ago, the first drive failed with the Click of Death - similar to the old IBM Deskstar's. 2 weeks old, 12~ hours of usage, click of death begins...

It spends most of its time turned off, and is only used when I'm watching the odd movie at home.It started clicking this morning whilst powered on, but with no USB connection. It was simply spinning for the sake of spinning. I can still read/write to it, but I'm going to return it.
