WONDERFUL
I am 81 yrs old and this dvd held me enthralled especially the weightlessness fighting. Certainly one of the best movies 2010.It is also one of those movies you have to watch several times to catch up on what you missed first time around

One of the best and one of the most complicated movies I have ever seen
Once in a while, a film comes along that not only takes the cinematic world by storm, but also rewrites the rules of movie making altogether. Christopher Nolan's latest project, Inception, is one such achievement. Nolan had previously directed the masterpiece, The Dark Knight. That film gave us a whole new look into what a Batman film could be like. But with Inception, he creates something so new; so fresh and original that you wonder if even he fully understood it.Inception is a fil...

Subconsciously Thrilling
I really enjoyed this film, and must credit Chris Nolan with having a higher regard for his audience than other directors. The film starts fast and doesn't break it's pace till the credits roll, if you are after a popcorn film you can enjoy and not pay too much attention to, this is not it. You need to concentrate from the beginning, and it may well take a couple of viewings to understand.Fantastic, complex and intriguing, it will have you guessing till the very end and thinking about the ...

Very Good Film, Very Poor Release
To make things straight, I think this film is four or five star worthy, however the release quality of this product is lacklustre at best. The Blu-ray copy of the film is great, among the top tier I've seen, but the dvd copy included is appalling. Even on an upscaling player it was not much better than a high quality youtube video. Distance panning shots looked particularly poor with little detail. Warner Bros are offering some sort of replacement package (acknowledged on their homepage for thos...

Triple Play Review (DVD + BLU RAY) Shameful marketing exercise
*** I've just updated the star rating as realised Amazon were using this review for other versions so unfair to rate so low. That star rating is for the film on Blu Ray - the DVD transfer is atrocious ***The film itself is excellent. This is a review of the package containing a Blu Ray, DVD and option for a digital download. The Blu Ray is fantastic, detailed, crisp, everything you'd expect a Blu Ray to be. The DVD is one of the worst DVD transfers ...

Inception is one of the films of the year
I managed to see this for a second time a couple of weeks ago, after I was unsure of my initial feelings of it upon first viewing. Thankfully, a lot of the issues I had with it are cleared up after this second watch. Nolan's mind-bending marriage of science-fiction, Bond film and heist movie livens up a nigh on awful summer blockbuster season with a dizzying, breathtaking combination of visual bravura and rich thematic depth. Upon first viewing, elements of the plot felt more than a little dense...

Christopher Nolan is a genius!
I remember watching this at the cinema and was alarmed by the number of people that walked out after an hour. And it occured to me that we've been spoon-fed by directors, laying out the plot so even those of us that don't read books can follow the story. Along comes Mr. Nolan who forces us to concentrate. And what of it? Not for years have we had a movie that is not only truly cinematic, but gives us plenty to mull over as the credits roll. For those of you that didn't need subtitles or a narrat...

The best summer blockbuster film of the year and a must have for all sci-fi fans.
Inception is very complex, strange and clever film that some people will find to much to get they head around the story and won't enjoy it. You really need to make sure you are wide awake and pay 100% attention to this film or you will get lost. "Leonardo Dicapio" as a actor is getting better all time and puts in a great performance. The best way to describe Inception is to say that it's a cross between "The Cell", "Bourne Identity" and "Matrix" which if that sounds pretty cool then yes it is a ...

okay...ish.
after an hour in,i told myself i was bored.then it got good, then i got bored again.afterwards,i kept asking myself if i liked it.and for me, if i have to ask myself if i liked it,then thats the answer.heres why. yes,you have to really concentrate to understand the gist.that wasnt a proble.the effects are fantastic. great. the trouble with this film, for me, is it takes itself way too seriously, and in danger of being so far up its own backside, for its own good. Also, it borrowed heavily from...
