This a great TV with fairly accurate industry standard pictures in "theatre" mode.The other settings are too glarish and colours exaggerated compared to D65 standards.In "theatre" mode I reccomemnd setting backlight setting to 3, increasing the brightness by 1-2 and lowering the contrast by a few clicks, you shall come broadly close to D65 standards, either that or buy Digital Video Essentials HD to calibrate your TV. Great buy, simple setup!!
Was really pleased with this product, from delivery to setting it up. The TV arrived within two days and in perfect condition. Setting up freeview took about 20mins, and was simple enough to do without the user manual. Picture is fantastic and sound crystal clear. When using my Sony Blu-ray player the picture is out of this world!!! It is best to keep the TV on standby after setting up your freeview as I found out when i switched the TV of at the mains, and had to set the freeview up again. A...

Great TV, poor delivery options.
Spent ages looking for a new TV and finally settled on this one after bein messed about by John Lewis always going out of stock!!In regards to the TV I can't fault it, great sound, perfect picture quality. pretty good tv with great freeview
Had this TV for a few weeks now.Want to say at the start that I'm pretty pleased with it but there were a couple of dissapointments.I've connected the TV using the eithernet connector to my home network, I have movies stored on a file server not next to the TV.You cannot stream movies from the remote server to the TV using the TV as the control device (apparently you can if the remote server is a PS3 but I cannot confirm that). My first Sony tv
I'll make this short and sweet ,this TV for me is as good as it gets. The SD freeview is the best I have ever seen and the HD picture quality is totally stunning. Also there is plenty of adjustment to get the picture to your own personal preference.

First of all let me say that the actual tv itself is the usual excellent sony product with great picture and sound, a perfect size for me at 37", and the menu system works well when you get used to it.Now the sad bit. Been using this for about a month with absolutely no complaints. Brilliant picture and a really simple set up. In tandem with a sony blu ray (360) it performs really well. Sound is as good as you could expect from a television audio system and quite honestly if you are picky about it then put it through an amp or surround.
