Rechargeable battery for Sony Cyber-shot camera
I recently purchased a Sony Cyber-shot camera which came with a Sony NP-FG1 rechargeable battery & charger. I bought this second battery as a back up to have fully charged & ready to use as soon as the "low battery" sign appears on the camera. It comes in a neat little click shut case. For the amount of use the camera gets the battery life seems to be nice & long. No complaints.

Genuine performance
Despite being a new/top of the range model, Sony still ship the DSC-HX9V with the standard NP-BG1 battery so I purchased the FG1 as a spare to give me the on-screen info. Yes, it's pricy compared to a 3rd-party brand but if I can I'd rather put a genuine part into my new camera. Plus, I used a Sony NP-FG1 on my HX5V and it always gave me good/relaible performance.

Awesome Genuine Replacement
Decided I needed an extra battery for my DSC-HV5X so glad I purchased the advanced battery rather than a 'copy' or the original. This works a treat and the extra features it enables such as pictures / power up time remaining on the view screen of the camera are invaluable.A real gem.

Sony rechargeable battery
I did not realise how much the power of my previous battery had deteriorated until the first time I used the new one. There can only be a certain number of times a battery can stand up to recharging. The new battery gives excellent results and was posted promptly.
