Poor video performance on external monitor
 
I bought this product because I wanted to simplify plugging/unplugging my Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop from various peripherals such as printer, scanner, keyboard and mouse. Good Product, but not perfect.
 
I have just purchased this product for my laptop, and like most was particularly drawn to this product because of its VGA support. Whilst I agree with what others have said about the video support being quite slow, it works for me. I think you just have to be realistic about what to expect. Good for business use
 
I have been using this for the past four months on windows xp, no problems, does all it needs to do for reducing amount of wiring from my laptop when in the office- yes video is slow or grainy if playing movies on it, but for use with internet, word, excel, power point etc it is excellent. One USB plug into the computer drives my monitor, wireless mouse,keyboard, blackberry charger, and provides me with network connection to my LAN.

Only Compatible with Windows XP based notebooks (not suitable for Vista and not suitable for Windows 7)
 
This is a great product if you have a Windows XP notebook/laptop. But please read that it is NOT compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7.
