Not impressed
After waiting for a week since ordering, this item arrived from Amazon. I plugged it into my tablet PC, turned it on and... there was a regular 'phut phut' sound. I unplugged it and... there was still a 'phut phut' sound. In fact that's just about all it would do, whether plugged in to a device or not. The 'phut phut' sound was not very loud, which might be indicative of the volume level that it can (or can't) achieve. It had an integral lead connected to the jack plug. This lead was

Great speakers... well worth it
Great speakers... well worth it.. delivered on time.. works perfectly.. and really cheap.. compatible with most of my devices and charge is good enough.. although not sure about the 8 hr clalim it makes..

fantastic
I bought this fantastic little gizmo for my son's mp3 player & he loves it, i also borrowed it once when a film i was watching online had very low volume, i plugged it into my headphone socket on my laptop & couldn't believe how much better & louder the sound was, TOP little gadget, i'm gonna get myself 1 now i think. :-)

A bit tinny but very good for the money
For the low price this is a great speaker for playing music from a phone when you're having a BBQ or something. Its a good size and will fit, though somewhat uncomfortably, in your pocket. The battery lasts a long time, I had it running at pretty much full volume for about 5 hours and it was still working fine. Not sure how long it takes to charge; I'd say about an hour. I usually just plug it in each night in case I want to use it the next day.The volume is good but the sound isn't
